Financial Project Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivatedFinancial Project Managertojoin the Corios rapidly growing offshore wind business and support the transition to a low carbon sustainable global economy.

The role is based in Boston MAwith coverage of projects in the US as well as other developing offshore wind markets in the Americas. You will report to the Head of Financial Project Management.

You will:

Be responsible for financial management of Offshore Wind development joint ventures driving economically and commercially optimal outcomes whilst ensuring that high levels of compliance standards and controls are maintained at all times.

Ensure that appropriate financial management processes are established and followed within project companies. You will work closely together with outside service providers and Corios central finance team as well as our development partners to ensure that all accounting tax and reporting requirements are satisfied.

Work with (or as part of) the project management team with overall responsibility for the financial management of project companies and their interim holding companies

Drive economically and commercially optimal outcomes whilst ensuring that high levels of compliance standards and controls are maintained at all times

Procure and oversee outside service providers to manage accounting taxation and statutory obligations

Work closely together with the technical procurement and corporate finance teams to ensure that projects have comprehensive and reliable financial projections

Manage funding of the project companies

Liaise with Corios central teams and our development partners to ensure that the projects financial management systems and processes are suitable for and accepted by all project shareholders

Compile and present highquality management reports to senior management on both individual projectlevel and where appropriate on consolidation level

As Corios business operations are ramping up in the US you are also expected to support Corios central finance functions in the financial management of Corios nonproject entities in the US.

Requirements

To excel in this role you will hold a recognised US or CCAB Accountancy qualification or Bachelor degree in a relevant field (Master degree is desirable) and have at least 10 years experience in financial management in an infrastructure project environment.

Exposure to commercial project management as well as joint venture structures and nonrecourse project debt finance are highly desirable.

You will be able to demonstrate having established and managed financial management systems and processes for project companies.

You are able to build strong working relationships with external service providers and development partners.

You will be able to advise senior team members as an authority figure in relation to financial project management and producing and presenting high quality reports and presentations.

What we offer you

The salary range for this position is USD 120k to USD 160k based on experience.
