The Role
Brand Equity Management with specific focus on supporting the Head of Marketing in planning developing and executing global marketing initiatives. Through planning & effective marketing and trade marketing activities contribute to profitable growth & delivery of financial targets for on and off line consumer and partner activity.
Work with the Sales product and marketing team to develop the Castore brand by building awareness advocacy and passion for the brand and products ensuring global brand positioning and equity is respected.
Responsibilities
Strategy & commercial
Driving Brand Equity ensuring all materials are produced and used according to Castores brand guidelines
Working with brand and studio team to develop product marketing strategy to build the Castore brand & product franchises and increase sales across all channels
Build the 360 degree launch and promotional calendar and campaigns on and off line manage resource and planning with the Project manager
Manage marketing budget tracker to deliver optimal return on investment both DTC and wholesale channels.
Keep up to date with product development to align marketing activity
Track and record results of all activities to optimise learnings and improve effectiveness of marketing investments feedback to the business following each campaign . Development of marketing dashboard to measure success and brand health.
Consumer marketing
Coordinate experiential events working collaboratively with colleagues media opportunities brand collaborations promotions and advertising
Manage all brand and campaign materials to support activities globally
Liasie with external marketing agencies to deliver campaigns and evaluate success
Continuously improve systems data accuracy reporting and information
Trade marketing
Plan coordinate and execute trade marketing programmes to engage partners with the support of the trade marketing manager
Support internal teams with effective sales presentations and supporting materials
Support relationships with key partners from a marketing perspective
Return on investment from marketing activities and initiatives (mix of qualitative and quantitative measures)
Management
Inspires challenges and stretches individual performances coaching all team members to reach their full potential
Provides clear direction and constructive feedback to direct reports giving open and honest feedback to all regarding their performance and behaviours
Conducts regular reviews with team creating focussed action plans to target improvement and encouraging others to deliver on all targets
Motivates coaches and encourages creativity giving every direct report the confidence to take part creating a positive atmosphere to work in
Delivers effective communication to all team members
Direct reports include : Project manager; trade marketing managers x 2 ; with potential for more reports as the team grows

Skills & Qualities
Skills and Experience:
Minimum 5 years experience in trade marketing / brand marketing
Proven & successful track record in driving sales through marketing
Proven people management mentoring and coaching skills
Experience of developing & successfully implementing marketing strategies
Proven ability in delivering budgets & managing opportunities & risk
Ability to understand commercial priorities and respond accordingly
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Computer literate and proficiency with MS applications especially PowerPoint Word Excel and Outlook.
