Labour Relations Technician (Ref: MGMT 202401)

The Institute of Chemical research of Catalonia (ICIQ) is seeking a Labour Relations Technician.

ICIQ is one of the worlds internationally recognized leading institutions in the field of chemistry committed to solving major social and economic challenges by conducting top quality research in three main areas: Sustainable Catalysis Renewable Energy and Health. The institute also aims at training the future generation of scientists by offering highquality educational programs to master PhD students and postdoctoral researchers (full details on ).

ICIQ is looking for an experienced Labour Relations Technician to support the Institute in the area of Personnel Administration. The post holder will work in a collaborative manner with the Personnel Administration Officer sharing all tasks relative to personnel administration and international agreements between ICIQ and other universities or research institutions.

To excel as a Labour Relations Technician we expect you to be experienced in hiring social security Income tax and used to doing it in an academic scientific environment. You should have an open mindset and be willing to explain clearly staffs doubts about labour conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Hiring administrative duties (Social Security registration Contracts)
  • Advising Managers on the kind of employment contract more accurate to the specific case.
  • Absence management.
  • Data Protection.
  • Immigration matters.
  • Income tax & Social Security payments.
  • Business certificates.
  • Other tasks related to the personnel administration area.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Labour Relations Officer in academic scientific environment.
  • Fluent in English (C1 level required).
  • Advanced level of Spanish and Catalan (preferably C1 level).
  • University degree preferable in Human resources or Labour Relations Science of work or Law.
  • Excel & Word knowledge and A3 Equipo user level

ICIQs selection process usually entails the following phases:

Per excellir com a Tcnic/a en Relacions Laborals esperem que tinguis experincia en contractaci seguretat social IRPF i estiguis acostumat/da a ferho en un entorn cientfic acadmic. Has de tenir una mentalitat oberta i estar disposat/da a explicar amb claredat els dubtes del personal sobre les condicions laborals.

Responsabilitats:

  • Contractaci funcions administratives (alta a la Seguretat Social Contractes)
  • Assessorar als responsables sobre el tipus de contracte de treball ms precs per al cas concret.
  • Gesti dabsncies.
  • Protecci de dades.
  • Temes dimmigraci.
  • Pagament de lIRPF i de la Seguretat Social.
  • Certificats dempresa.
  • Altres tasques relacionades amb lrea dadministraci de personal.

Requisits:

  • Experincia acreditada com a tcnic de Relacions Laborals en entorns cientfics acadmics.
  • Angls fluid (es requereix un nivell C1).
  • Nivell avanat de castell i catal (preferiblement nivell C1).
  • Titulaci universitria en Recursos Humans o Grau Universitari preferentment Relacions Laborals Cincies del Treball o Dret.
  • Coneixements dExcel & Word i nivell dusuari A3 Equipo.
