Respiratory Care Practitioner Respiratory Therapist Nights

Hours: 7p7a (36 hours/week) OT is available

Differentials:

• Night shift 11p7a $4.00/hour
• Weekends $3.30/hour
• Weekend Nights $5.75/hour

Overview: One of our exclusive partners is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to start with their organization immediately. This is a permanent job and offers benefits. This position is located in Lewiston Maine.

JOB SUMMARY

• Will provide the full range of routine therapeutics including bronchodilator therapy oxygen therapy and chest physical therapy.
• Respiratory Care staff are responsible for all invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation per physicianapproved protocol.
• Patient weaning (withdrawal from mechanical ventilation) from the ventilator is also the responsibility of the Respiratory Care Practitioners per protocol.
• Will assess the effectiveness of life support interventions and make recommendations to the physician provide life support procedures and provide appropriate cardiopulmonary diagnostic in accordance with physician orders.
• Respiratory Care Practitioners perform assist and instruct in all areas of therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care for both inpatients and outpatients ranging in age from infant to adult.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must have completed an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy program earning a twoyear associate degree in respiratory care
• Must have a current State License to practice as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
