Software Engineer

Are you interested in joining a cuttingedge company and collaborating with an innovative team for unique Xray products You will be part of our global skillful and customerfocused organization working with multidisciplinary teams through all phases of the product life cycle from conceptual development and detail design through qualification manufacturing transition and customer support.

We are looking for an experienced software professional to develop our SW solutions for our detector systems with respect to customer requirements highperformance and functional reliability targets. You will be contributing to the software solutions in products ranging from lowcost highvolume systems to highly scalable rich featured smart detector platforms.

You are in a key role in designing and implementing the next generation system platforms together with your own team and our other technical professionals. You will bring your knowledge to our software development environment and process improvements to ensure top quality deliverables on time.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing specifying and implementing appropriate software deliverables
• Applying the optimal architectures and coding structure for the highquality software
• Implementation of SDKs including highperformance Xray systems libraries and GUI applications for the target platforms (Linux Windows and MacOS)
• Unit testing the modules implemented by yourself
• Support / implementation for software testing tools for debugging and quality assurance (including test automation)
• Support for software continuous integration pipeline and build management development
• Creation of project related specifications plans reports and other documentation
• Customer support request and bugfixes related to SDKs

Qualifications

• Experience on SDK and software libraries development for Windows and Linux
• Profound skills in C and objectoriented programming in general for the optimized software solutions
• Preferably experience in Qt Python and C#
• Readiness to work in a global and multicultural team
• Excellence in diagnostic debugging and problem solving skills
• Fluent written and spoken English skills
• Preferably bachelors or masters degree in computer science or equivalent

Desirable

• Experience on software for realtime systems preferably from (Xray) camera/video/image processing applications including the interfaces to device and client application
• Experience on algorithm implementation
• Experience with GIT versioning workflow
• Experience in Agile Scrum framework (with Confluence/Jira tools)
• Not afraid of taking in charge challenging troubleshooting cases
