What Youll Do:
Are you ready to build your career by joining a healthcare provider If so our client is hiring a Registered Nurse Med/Surg TELE.
What Youll Do:
- Assessing planning implementing and evaluating patient care plans in consultation with healthcare professionals.
- Evaluating medical information as well as providing direct and individualized bedside nursing care to patients.
- Reviews evaluates and reports diagnostic tests to assess patients condition.
- Consults with physicians and other healthcare professionals related to assigned patients to assess plan implement and evaluate patient care plans.
- Prepares patients for and assists with examinations procedures and treatments.
- A Telemetry Nurse monitors patients vital signs with an electrocardiogram or other life signmeasuring device.
- Provide care to patients.
- Float to Trauma Cardiac Neuro Surgical Ortho and Cancer Care units. Max 6:1 patient to nurse ratio. Required Experience: Medical management of chest pain blood pressure electrolyte imbalances electrolyte replacement PO and IV nurse drive heparin gtt protocol dysrhythmia course/interpretation of tele strips EKG IV push antihypertensive medications blood draws placement and maintenance of IVs Maintenance of PICC lines Central Lines Ports Trach management Chest Tubes
- 2 years current MST experience
- Required Certifications: ACLS BLS NIH
- NJ/Compact Licence. required.
- This is for Med Surg/Tele Float Pool
- Will float between RMC and Hopewell Campuses
- 36 hours/7a7:30p every other weekend every other holiday
- Scrub Color Navy Blue
- EMR Cerner
