Reliability Engineer

This role s primary responsibility will be to assist our maintenance team tactically in the plant to prevent recurring breakdowns improve equipment reliability and optimize maintenance strategies. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the plant operates efficiently and minimizes downtime.

Skills :

• Reliability Analysis: Conduct thorough reliability assessments of equipment and systems within the plant to identify vulnerabilities failure modes and recurring issues.
• Root Cause Analysis: Investigate breakdowns and equipment failures to determine root causes and collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop and implement effective solutions.
• Maintenance Optimization: Work closely with maintenance teams to develop and refine maintenance strategies ensuring they align with best practices and minimize downtime.
• Predictive Maintenance: Implement predictive maintenance techniques such as vibration analysis thermography and oil analysis to proactively identify potential issues before they lead to breakdowns.
• Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics tools to analyze equipment performance data identify trends and make datadriven decisions to improve reliability.
• ReliabilityCentered Maintenance (RCM): Develop and maintain RCM strategies for critical equipment ensuring the right maintenance tasks are performed at the right intervals.
• Spare Parts Management: Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure the availability of critical spare parts and minimize equipment downtime.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of equipment reliability data maintenance activities and improvement initiatives. Generate regular reports for management.
• Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to maintenance teams on reliability engineering concepts and best practices.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives driving a culture of reliability excellence within the organization.

Health and Safety

• Participate in safety forums created by Soill for example safety meetings and safety talks
• Followup on any activities assigned through safety meetings / committees / representatives / management
• Report all safety incidents to the relevant people
• Attend safety education and refresher programmes
• Comply with safety policies and procedures at Soill
• Distribute safety information as and when required
• Wear protective clothing (where applicable) at all times
