Your tasks

Are you able to combine creativity and strategy with ease Then youve come to the right place! For the position of Head of Design (m/f/d) at KoRo we are looking for a versatile and experienced person to drive our international design strategy forward with the help of a dedicated team.

• Team leadership: Lead a dedicated design team consisting of three packaging designers three graphic designers and two photographers and encourage the individual development of your team members.
• Strategic planning: Develop longterm design strategies that not only reflect our brand values but also support our corporate goals.
• Creative conception: Develop innovative design ideas that differentiate KoRo in the market and authentically represent our values.
• Localisation: Take responsibility for localising the design for international markets taking into account cultural differences and ensuring global brand consistency.
• Crossdepartmental collaboration: Work closely with marketing brand product development and sales to ensure that the design is seamlessly integrated into the overall strategy.

Your profile

• You have at least three years of proven experience in a design leadership role preferably in the food industry.
• You have a strong portfolio that demonstrates expertise in art direction branding graphic and packaging design.
• You have excellent leadership skills and are able to motivate and inspire your team members.
• You live in Berlin/surrounding areas or are willing to relocate to Berlin for your new position.
• You are fluent in written and spoken English (C2); knowledge of German is a plus.
• You are proficient in design software and tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite Sketch Figma).
• You have experience in the visual development of brands and products.
• You are familiar with managing design processes for international markets and have a keen sense of cultural nuances.
• You have excellent project management and organisational skills that make it easy for you to set priorities and multitask effectively.
• You are resilient and able to maintain focus in a dynamic environment and work purposefully towards results.
• You also have strong communication and collaboration skills that help you to interact with stakeholders at different levels.
