Operation Manager - Fundspot

Objective:

Responsible for overseeing the daytoday operations of the Fundspot platform developing and implementing new processes and procedures and ensuring that the Fundspot platforms operations comply with all applicable rules and regulations.

What youll do!

• Overseeing the daytoday operations team ensuring that the platforms operations are running smoothly and efficiently as well as providing guidance and support to the operations team.
  
• Developing and implementing new processes and procedures identifying areas where the platforms operations can be improved then developing and implementing new processes and procedures to address those areas.
  
• Ensuring that the platforms operations are in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations involves staying uptodate on the latest rules and regulations ensuring that the platforms operations are in compliance with those rules and regulations.
  
• Representing the company to regulators and other stakeholders involves attending meetings with regulators and other stakeholders and representing the platforms interests.
  
• Managing a team of professionals involves hiring training and motivating the operations team as well as ensuring that the team is meeting its objectives.
  
• Staying uptodate on market developments and changes to regulations ensuring that the platforms operations are in compliance with the latest rules and regulations as well as identifying opportunities to improve the platforms operations.
  
• Collaborate with compliance and internal audit staff to ensure all shared risks are effectively managed at the company level.
  

What should you have.

• Bachelors degree in finance economics or a related field.
  
• 10 years of experience in fund management platform operations or a related role.
  
• Strong understanding of the financial markets.
  
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  
• Proficient in financial software.
