Requirements

• 2+ years of proven work experience in database analyst
  

• Hands on experience in SQL (PostgreSQL a must) and relational databases
  

• Experience preparing, cleaning, and maintaining datasets, troubleshooting instances, data files, control files, redo log files; performing feature engineering and data cross-validation
  

• Understanding of database/scripting languages
  

• Experience of Backup and recovery process
  

• Experience in managing database development/integration/migration projects.
  

• Experience in identifying areas where data can be used to improve organizational activities, proposing and implementing innovative data solutions.
  

• Good verbal and written communication skills along with excellent organizational skills and attention to details
  

• Good understanding of MS-Office suite or related software
  

• Highly analytical mindset and a desire to dig deep into database
  

• Worked across both Qualitative and Quantitative analysis areas
  

What will you do:

• Perform day-to-day operations (includes monitoring and maintenance, problem investigation and resolution, backup creation and maintenance, database optimization and tuning, etc.)
  

• Provides technical know-how in database system design, implementation, and administration. Also, draft documents of the DB architecture for future use
  

• Enhance and automate routine procedures, reports, keep tabs on problems and record changes
  

• Analyses and maintains performance and capacity needs
  

• Implements and maintains database security and encryption
  

• Develops, manages, and tests database and information system backup and recovery plans
  

• Migration of data between relational databases
  

• Establish best practices for a growing team of SQL Developers/Analyst
  

• Use data modeling approaches to make sure that integration and performance goals are fulfilled and to provide future flexibility to accommodate shifting business requirements
  

• Always be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, spot issues, and give the customer more for their investment
  

• Manage user accesses and roles
  

• Create database patch using complex queries
