We are looking for freelance Learning Designers to work in a dynamic fastpaced and fastgrowing company. In this role you will have the opportunity to be innovative and work with our product development and academic teams and develop courses with our partners and SMEs.
Culture and values are essential to us so the successful candidate will need to be passionate about people flexible in their approach and a thorough understanding of best practices.
Responsibilities would include but are not limited to:
Research
- Conduct course content research and analysis based on SME content provided
- Examples and case studies aligned to course content
Learning design for course development
- Apply tested learning design theories practices and methods
- Create learnerfocused storyboards which encourage participation and engagement
- Develop reflections and activities that enhance the learning process and align to the assessment
- Brief supporting images and write impactful video scripts
- Complete improvements and edits of previously developed course content during review phase
- Functional project management for delivery of allocated courses
Quality assurance
- Maintenance and continuous improvement on course material
- Implementation of academic policies and procedures
Requirements:
- 2 years in Learning/Instructional Design
- Relevant educational degree or qualification
- Understanding of learning practices and outcomes
- Knowledge of learning theories and learning design models
- Assessment and curriculum planning skills
- Knowledge of course development software specifically Articulate RISE (and Storyline is a bonus!)
- Exemplary English writing skills
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to work independently
