Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Schedule: MonFri 5:30am start plan to work 1012hrs.

Responsibilities of the Mechanic:

• Observes mechanical devices in operation and uses various test equipment and/or listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
  
• Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
  
• Repairs or replaces defective parts. Install special functional and structural parts in devices. Lubricates and cleans parts.
  
• Starts devices to test their performance.
  
• Repairs electrical mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
  
• Performs maintenance and repairs to machines and equipment such as conveyors blowers crushers pumps and other processing equipment.
  
• Will advise management whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
  

Requirements

Requirements of the Mechanic:

• Must have recent Maintenance Mechanic experience.
  
• Must be able to safely lift 35lbs on daily basis.
  
• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules training materials schematic diagrams operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  
• Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
