Job Description for Regional Sales Manager Automation Solutions


Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy and Execution:

Formulate and implement a comprehensive regional sales strategy aligned with the companys goals

Identify and pursue new business opportunities target markets and potential clients in the designated regions

Take charge of the complete sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to successful deal closure ensuring the attainment of sales targets

2. Services Commissioning:

Oversee and coordinate the successful commissioning of machines at customers locations

Collaborate closely with the technical team to ensure smooth installation setup and testing of machines

Offer technical support to clients during the commissioning process promptly addressing challenges and issues

Demonstrate proficiency in Panels Instruments standard signals Wiring Drawings (SLD) and Hydraulics systems

3. Customer Relationship Management:

Cultivate strong enduring relationships with key customers and stakeholders gaining insights into their needs and delivering tailored solutions

Address customer inquiries concerns and complaints promptly and professionally ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction

4. Market Analysis and Insights:

Monitor industry trends competitor activities and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities and potential obstacles

Provide valuable insights and feedback to the management team on market trends customer preferences and product enhancements

5. Sales Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare accurate and timely sales reports forecasts and performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies and make informed decisions

Utilize datadriven insights to continually refine sales tactics and strategies


Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical Electronics Instrumentation Mechanical IT & Computer)
  • 3 to 7 years of combined sales/services experience
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving and surpassing sales targets in the industrial automation sector
  • Profound understanding of industrial automation products solutions and technologies
  • Preference for candidates with knowledge of PLC/Controller/HMI/SCADA/Web guide System/Tension Control System/Web slitting system/Web Inspection system.
  • Strategic thinker with the capacity to analyze market trends and formulate effective sales strategies
  • Exceptional leadership communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite
  • Willingness to undertake extensive travel within the designated region
