This is a remote position.

Position Overview
As a Senior Real Estate Paralegal you will support infrastructure land acquisition building improvements and other real estate related projects which have been earmarked for behavioral healthbased infrastructure and building improvements in the State of California. Your primary focus will be working with the Californiabased legal team in crafting editing reviewing and processing realestate related documents including the following types of agreements and documentation:
- Purchase and sale
- Title
- Funding
- Construction
- AIA
- Subcontractor
- Acquisition
- Land use
- General business
- Statements of work
The Senior Real Estate Paralegal will support program management teams not individual attorneys. This role is for a motivated legal professional that wants to continue to grow and expand their skill set.
Reports to: Lead InHouse Real Estate Attorney
Location: 100% remote (Must live and work in California)
Salary Range: $100000 $112000
- Assist legal team in preparing reviewing filing and revising real estate documents amendments and statements of work.
- Manage version control for assigned contracts.
- Due diligence and substantive review.
- Assist in identifying and assessing legal and business risks and escalate feedback as needed.
- Develop organize and expand a library of templates and outstanding agreements.
- Serve as an additional resource to our Center for Training Technical Assistance and Consulting in answering real estate related questions.
- Provide attorney with regular updates on the status of all projects.
Requirements
- 7 years of overall paralegal experience
- 5 years of commercial Real Estate specific paralegal experience
- Excellent contract and document review writing and communication skills
- Extremely organized
- Proactive with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and workstreams to meet deadlines.
- Paralegal Certificate or Associates Degree
Interviews will be conducted via MS Team Video
1. Introductory interview with Lead Attorney
2. Functional skills interview with Paralegal
3. Behavioral interview with Lead Attorney & Paralegal
4. Culture interview with General Counsel
