Our client WeBC is a notfor profit that has been supporting propelling and celebrating women entrepreneurs across the province for nearly three decades. Working with regional partners they have provided thousands of entrepreneurs with business loans and expertise accessible training and resources and regionally based mentors. Their purpose to is empower women entrepreneurs to make an impact in their communities and create opportunities in our BC s economy. Their holistic approach means they get to know the woman behind the business so they can connect her with the right networks capital and resources to help her business grow and thrive.

As a provincial organization WeBC is currently looking to add a dedicated and organized individual to join their Kelowna team as a Client Services Coordinator. Reporting to the Senior Director of Loans & Advisory the Client Services Coordinator fills an important role as a key member of the Client Services team often providing the first impression for clients as the initial point of contact with the organization. Key responsibilities including client intake conducting an initial needs assessment information referral coordination of counselling requests responding to telephone inquiries and responding to client service emails.

Responsibilities include:

  • Actively promote all WeBC services;
  • Recording all business development activities/interactions in the CRM system;
  • Fostering a positive first impression and client experience as first point of client contact;
  • Assessing client needs at the point of first contact and match with product and service options;
  • Providing appropriate resource and information referrals to clients via email or phone;
  • Forwarding counselling requests and referrals to the designated team member;
  • Compiling and maintaining records on client accounts;
  • Screening feedback and requests from clients and refer as appropriate;
  • Build and maintain close relationships with clients.


Requirements

  • Postsecondary education in Business or associated field;
  • Prior administrative or client services experience within a professional organization is considered an asset;
  • Strong understanding of customer service and ability to promote these values through the organization;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills while dealing with a variety of different audiences: employees clients and mentors;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with clients from diverse businesses;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal with sensitive information in an effective manner
  • Computer proficiency with a variety of computer software including Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Experience with CRM software an asset;
  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively within a team environment.
