Our client GreenTree Community Inclusion Programs is an organization that provides personcentered care and innovative solutions for persons served with diversabilities. They believe that by providing barrier free support services they can assist people with diversabilities to thrive in their environment and in community. As an extremely fastgrowing organization they are looking to onboard a Director of Operations to their team.

As the Director of Operations you will oversee daily operations including establishing the operational framework and infrastructure needed to support planning service delivery allocation and management of all physical human and financial resources. You will utilize your strong leadership and communication skills to ensure crossdepartmental synergy resulting in the successful and sustainable growth of their organization. You are dedicated to maintaining a personcentered culture that ensures clients are the focus of the agency and that they are respected heard safe and supported. Reporting to the Executive Director you will be responsible to plan organize and direct the strategic and daytoday operations. With various opportunities for growth and development within this newly created role this is the ideal situation for someone who can take initiative and enjoys new challenges.

Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Work with senior leadership to set and drive the organizational vision and mission corporate strategy and resource planning;
  • Develop actionable business strategies objectives and plans that ensure alignment with short and longterm objectives developed in tandem with the agency s leadership team;
  • Apply analytical skills to set up key performance indicators and operational efficiencies;
  • Lead and guide the departments and equip each one with clarity and support in scope budget and schedule for their specific location;
  • Continue to recruit train and manage a team of professionals and support staff while providing ongoing leadership to ensure that the team is wellqualified adequately staffed and motivated to deliver highquality care;
  • Provide career coaching growth and personal development for team members;
  • Strategically manage organize and coordinate team members from various cross functional departments and geographical locations to ensure operational excellence;
  • Respond to staff issues and concerns in a supportive and goaloriented manner;
  • Stay uptodate with relevant laws and regulations governing healthcare and the social service sector and ensure that the agency complies with all legal and ethical standards;
  • Participate in the ongoing development and implementation of policies procedures and operational reporting/metrics;
  • Establish and maintain quality standards for care services. Monitor and evaluate the quality of care delivered to ensure that it meets or exceeds established benchmarks;
  • Oversee the financial aspects of the agency s operations including budgeting resource allocation and periodic forecast updates and cost control. Ensure that the services are delivered efficiently and within the allocated budget;
  • Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics and identify areas of improvement;
  • Allocate resources such as equipment facilities and supplies to different programs within the organization to ensure smooth and effective operations;
  • Identify opportunities for programs and services that address the evolving needs of the community. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement these programs;
  • Foster strong relationships within the community person served and their families. Act as a liaison between the organization and the community to gather feedback and address concerns;
  • Utilize technology and data to streamline operations and improve person served care. This may include implementing electronic health records telehealth solutions and data analytics for performance improvement;
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans to ensure the safety and wellbeing of person served and staff during crises or disasters;
  • Work closely with other healthcare providers government agencies nonprofits and community organizations to enhance the overall sector ecosystem in the community;
  • Establish systems and processes to evaluate performance of programs and services aligned with corporate direction. Make datadriven decisions to improve efficiency and effectiveness;
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks that could affect the quality of care person served safety or the reputation of the agency.


Requirements

  • Minimum 5 year s experience in management role senior leadership experience with a social services or humanitarian organization;
  • Postsecondary education in Business Leadership Project Management or Human Resources (MBA preferred);
  • Previous experience working with CLBC and MCFD in some capacity is required;
  • CARF accreditation and strong awareness of CARF standards is required;
  • Previous experience leading an agency through accreditation will be considered a strong asset;
  • Must be a collaborative team player who is emotionally resilient and able to problem solve;
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people manage change develop strategy and execute on plans;
  • Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a highly dynamic environment building and sustaining effective relationships;
  • Experience working with staffed residential homes in some capacity considered an asset;
  • Strong background and work experience in people management and policy/procedure development;
  • Ability to support Quality Assurance and Continual Quality Improvement;
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills both written and verbal;
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills;
  • Professional and ethical demeanor;
  • Strong computer literacy skills with competencies in Microsoft Office products;
  • Adaptable and responsive to changing sector trends community needs and external factors such as sector policy changes or funding shifts;
  • Valid driver s license with good driving record.
