Senior Finance Business Partner - Healthcare

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Senior Business Partner for Healthcare and General overheads reporting to Divisional Finance Director with responsibility for all management accounting financial accounting internal reporting activities and Business Partner support for clusters of exhibitions within the appropriate legal entities.

THE ROLE:

• Provide finance support and advice to all operational and marketing teams responsible for show cost budgets

• Oversee input and maintain budgets and forecasts in the FP&A system

• Provide finance support to appropriate Event Directors and Show Cluster Managing Directors

• Financial accounting responsibility for all legal entities within remit balance sheet reconciliation and audit compliance

• Report and manage financial risks and opportunities at show level

• Monitor and report Opex and Capex spend whilst maintaining compliance in terms of deferred revenue and costs to point of show month

• Ad hoc reporting and analysis. Devise new and innovative analysis reports to help the business focus on performance and delivering financial objectives

• Suggest updates and improvements for accounting processes.

• Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded filed and reported

• Interpreting and communicating financial data to nonfinancial managers

• Management and development of the Trainee Management Accountant

• High degree of pride in their work with a focus on highquality outputs and simpletofollow analysis

• This is an evolving role and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape and develop the role and their profile within the business.

SKILLS:

• Ability to prioritize think on your feet and deliver in a fastpaced environment.

• Ability to recognize challenges or opportunities with the confidence and gravitas to communicate and challenge the wider business.

• Be able to drive focus on issues by delivery of valueadding information and analysis and the confidence to deliver.

• Solutionorientated with a proactive can do attitude instilling a sense of pace and urgency into the organization and willing to delve into the detail.

• Confident in forecasting and preparing budgets accurately.

• Excellent IT skills

• Efficient in producing professional reports and analysing information to support decisionmaking.

• Ability to maximize efficient usage of financial information systems.

• May require some long days and travel to London.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize whilst at the same time managing stakeholder expectations.

• Based either in Coventry office with travel to other locations at least once a week.

• This role requires someone to get involved in the detail on a monthly basis as well as look at the higherlevel picture.

Qualifications & Experience

• Demonstrable ability to communicate and influence at a senior level.

• ACA CIMA or ACCA qualified

• Proven track record of delivery of valueadding information.

• Strong analytical skills

• Experience of computerized accounting / ERP systems would be advantageous though not essential.

• Preferably someone from an SME background who has developed through Finance roles and understands the basics of accounting
