10 Points is urgently hiring for excellent and experienced Intervention Specialist for our school sites in Mantua OH for 202324 school year starting asap. Interviews are being held.
- Start Date: ASAP
- Age group: Grade 5
- Caseload: Max 16 students
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The following represents some major areas of concern in Special Education. Other areas in the Special Education field will be required to fulfill all the needs of the classroom and student IEPs.
- Plan curriculum lessons and special education programs and teaching methods.
- Maintain the physical environment of the classroom for organization and presentation purposes.
- Instruct individuals and groups on Special Ed. skill areas.
- Modify curriculum according to IEP and administer testing evaluations.
Requirements
Certificates and/or Licenses:
- Active License as an Intervention Specialist in OH
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelors degree required (Masters preferred)
- Experience in Cross Categorical Special Education Teacher
- 2 years of experience as a Special Education Teacher in school settings
