LABORATORY TECHNICIAN
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Monitoring operations on the production line at regular intervals daily.
- Assisting in performing laboratory tests on production batches in accordance with standard procedures and under supervision.
- Testing of stability study samples and maintenance of the relevant documentation.
- Data entry and assisting with the generation of reports.
- Equipment verification.
- Line startup verifications and approvals.
- Media and reagent preparation.
- Environmental monitoring activities.
- Water quality monitoring.
- Conduction cleaning validation on equipment.
- Assisting in the maintenance of the Quality and Food Safety Systems and continuous improvement.
- Assisting with sampling and tagging of raw/packaging materials.
- Minimum – Degree in Chemistry or Applied Biological Science or related field.
- Years’ experience in a laboratory setting.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in the pharmaceutical or food industry.
- Knowledge of HACCP ISO GMP and other Quality Management Systems.
- Detail oriented.
- Selfmotivated.
- Flexible and dedicated.
- Working knowledge of Computer Systems.
