The European Society of Radiology (ESR) is a
nonpolitical and nonprofit organisation dedicated to strengthening and
uniting European Radiology. With more than 130000 members worldwide
it has become the largest radiological society that organises one of the
most innovative scientific congresses in this field the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) in Vienna.

For our office in Vienna we are looking for a team member (385h) to support the Travel Service department.

Tasks

• Hotel purchase
• Flight booking (with Amadeus)
• Event management (planning and realisation of events)
• Contact and coordination with service providers
• Offer management
• Researching eventrelated services and trend scouting for innovations in the event industry
• Strategic planning realisation and followup of meetings at domestic and international level
• Assistance with customer meetings and communication with suppliers
• Support for the Executive Office

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of German (at least C1)
• Excellent knowledge of English (other foreign languages are an advantage)
• Excellent MS Office user skills (especially Excel)
• Organisational talent
• Knowledge of Amadeus is an advantage
• Experience in the field of congress organisation is a benefit
• Very good manners and a professional appearance
• Negotiating skills and assertiveness
• Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
• Willingness to travel (Austria and internationally)

The monthly gross salary for this job vacancy is at least 2400 (14
times per year). Depending on relevant experience and qualifications a higher salary is of course possible.
