Position Purpose:
We are looking to hire a skilled WordPress Frontend developer to design and implement attractive and functional websites for our clients. You will be responsible for frontend development including the implementation of ACF as well as site integration and security updates.
Education & Professional Qualification:
- Degree(s)/Major(s): Bachelors or Masters in a relevant field from a reputed local/foreign University.
- Certification(s): Not mandatory but certification in a relevant field is a plus.
Experience:
- Min 2 years of relevant experience as a WordPress Frontend Developer.
- Must have an experience with ACF.
Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3 including knowledge of responsive design techniques and CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript and its frameworks and libraries to create dynamic and interactive user interfaces.
Ability to integrate frontend code with WordPress themes seamlessly and templates leveraging WordPress template tags and functions. - Optimize frontend assets minimize HTTP requests and use techniques like lazy loading to enhance website performance.
- Ensure compatibility across various web browsers and devices through thorough testing and debugging.
- Implement web accessibility standards (WCAG) to ensure websites are usable by individuals with disabilities.
- Proficient in Git for code versioning collaboration and working in a team environment
- Create responsive layouts that adapt to different screen sizes and devices for a consistent user experience.
- Use AJAX and integrate thirdparty APIs to fetch and display dynamic content on WordPress websites.
- Familiarity with user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles to create visually appealing and userfriendly WordPress themes and templates.
Requirements
- Experience with JavaScript WordPress Gutenberg HTML CSS SASS ACF.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 including responsive design principles and CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
- Experience with page builders like Elementor Visual Composer or Divi.
- Experience with WooCommerce for ecommerce websites.
- Expertise in WordPress theming including the ability to customize and create custom WordPress themes from scratch or modify existing ones.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with designers effectively developers and other relevant staff members or clients.
- Willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing instructions and requirements.
- Maintaining an understanding of the latest Web applications and programming practices.
- Determining user needs by analyzing technical requirements.
- Maintain updated knowledge of the development industry and any advancements in technology.
- Meet tight deadlines as required.
- Performing other relevant tasks as per requirement.
