Contract Manager Construction Civil Engineering

About the Company

Our Client is a leading turnkey construction engineering company with a regional office in Singapore as well as a legacy of diverse building and civil engineering projects worldwide.

Responsibilities

We re looking for a detailoriented Contract Manager (Construction / Civil Engineering) to oversee and manage contractual aspects of the assigned project ensuring successful execution of the contract to from tender to project completion.

• Lead a team of quantity surveyors;
  
• Prepare comprehensive tenders including pricing details for management review;
  
• Evaluate and analyze tender documents identifying key requirements and contractual obligations;
  
• Develop detailed budgetary breakdowns for construction projects;
  
• Work closely with project teams to monitor and control project costs within budget constraints;
  
• Prepare cash flow projections for management review ensuring alignment with project timelines and financial objectives;
  
• Engage in discussions with consultants regarding variation works;
  
• Prepare and negotiate final accounts for the main contract ensuring accuracy and adherence to contractual agreements;
  
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers to achieve favourable terms for subcontract works;
  
• Attend and effectively handle tender interviews representing the companys interests.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management Quantity Survey or a related field;
  
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience;
  
• Strong understanding of construction contracts legal requirements and industry standards;
  
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills;
  
• Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines;
  
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite;
  
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  
• Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.
  

Employment Details

• This is a permanent position;
  
• Working hours: 5 days per week.
