Job Description

Conference and Banqueting Manager

Exciting opportunity for a seasoned Conference and Banqueting Manager to join our luxury hotel team. As a pivotal figure in our events department you will orchestrate flawless execution for conferences banquets and special events ensuring unparalleled guest experiences. With a strong emphasis on leadership and attention to detail you will lead a dedicated team collaborate with various departments and exceed client expectations. Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of conference and banqueting operations at Kilronan Castle.
  • Ensure the smooth execution of events conferences and banquets including planning setup and coordination.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as the kitchen and housekeeping to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Supervise and train staff members to provide highquality service to guests.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  • Manage event budgets and ensure financial targets are achieved.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and implement innovative ideas to enhance the conference and banqueting experience.
  • Handle guest complaints or issues promptly and effectively.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in conference and banqueting management or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Detailoriented and able to maintain high quality standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software.

Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in conference and banqueting management.
  • Prior experience in a luxury hotel or castle setting is preferred.
  • Experience in managing largescale events and highprofile clients.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations including menu planning and wine selection.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
