Wedding and Events Executive Job Description

Accommodation Assistance Provided

Exciting opportunity for a dynamic Wedding and Events Executive to join our luxury hotel team. In this role you will play a key part in creating unforgettable experiences for our guests by meticulously coordinating weddings and events. As a detailoriented professional you will work closely with clients vendors and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of events from conception to completion. Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of weddings and events held at Lough Rynn Castle.
  • Ensure that all events are executed flawlessly and according to the client's wishes.
  • Oversee the planning and organization of wedding ceremonies receptions and other special events.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored event solutions.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with vendors suppliers and other external parties involved in event planning.
  • Create event budgets and monitor expenses to ensure profitability.
  • Handle inquiries and bookings for weddings and events providing exceptional customer service.
  • Coordinate event logistics including venue setup audiovisual equipment decorations and catering.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during events.
  • Assist in marketing and promoting the castle as a premier wedding and event venue.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in wedding and event planning or coordination.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software.
  • Knowledge of wedding and event industry trends and best practices.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required.

Desired Experience:

  • Prior experience in organizing weddings and events at luxury venues.
  • Understanding of Irish wedding traditions and customs.
  • Experience in managing budgets and handling financial aspects of events.
  • Experience in marketing and promoting wedding and event venues.
  • Knowledge of local vendors suppliers and service providers.
