Job Description

Duty Manager

Accommodation Assistance Provided

Exciting opportunity for a Duty Manager to join our luxury hotel team. As a key liaison between guests and hotel operations the Duty Manager will ensure seamless guest experiences handle inquiries and oversee daily operations. With a focus on excellence this role requires strong leadership exceptional communication and problemsolving skills. Responsibilities
  • Oversee daytoday operations of the hotel ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
  • Supervise and train staff members including front desk housekeeping and maintenance.
  • Manage guest services ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Monitor and control expenses to meet budgetary goals.
  • Collaborate with other department heads to coordinate and improve operational processes.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in developing and implementing hotel policies and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive and professional demeanor.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a similar role in the hotel industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and best practices.
  • Proficient in computer systems and hotel management software.
  • Attention to detail and problemsolving abilities.
  • Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required.
Desired Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Duty Manager or in a similar role.
  • Experience in a luxury hotel or castle hotel setting.
  • Knowledge of the Irish hospitality industry.
  • Experience in wedding venue management.
  • Experience in fine dining and culinary operations.
