We are recruiting for a Padel Tennis Business Development Manager on behalf of a company that specialises in the design supply installation and maintenance of highquality outdoor spaces for commercial and private clients and has an offering that includes playgrounds outdoor fitness equipment and skate parks  This has now expanded to include the design and installation of Padel Tennis Courts

On offer for this sales development role is a salary of up to and a generous and open ended results based commission scheme company car or car allowance laptop mobile phone etc

Padel Tennis started in Mexico in with the first Padel Clubs opening in the UK in since then its popularity has grown  In there were just public courts within the UK and it is estimated that by the end of there will be more than which considering the lockdowns of and is an impressive figure This number is expected to continue to increase in due to increased awareness and popularity of the sport and that upward growth trend will continue for many years to come

Padel Tennis is a hybrid of tennis and squash with a sprinkle of table tennis the court is smaller than a tennis court and it is played with a bat that is more like a table tennis paddle than a tennis racquet by people of all ages

All of which makes this job a very exciting opportunity where you will be responsible for business growth within a niche and growing leisure trend will have a wide range of prospective customers to target and will be able to utilise the company s knowledge and reputation within the outdoor space creation sector to assist you as you work to develop new business

As the Business Development Manager you will be

  • Proactively looking to secure and increase Padel Tennis Court sales with existing clients
  • Identifying and targeting business with potential new clients
  • Developing a deep understanding of Padel Tennis its benefits key selling points and potential locations to best promote the company as the preferred supplier of courts


Requirements

To be considered as the Business Development Manager you will need

  • To be fitness orientated if you have played Padel Tennis great if not you will need to buy into the sport and want to be the person promoting the sport and the court solutions to a variety of clients
  • Strong business development account management and relationship building skills
  • To have the drive and passion to want this to succeed willing to put the hard work in to gain those appointments
  • To take a solution based sales approach so that you understand the need and can put forward a tailored and bespoke Padel Tennis Court solution
  • Excellent organisational time management and planning skills
  • To be happy to travel to meet with existing and potential new clients good listening skills and the attention to detail skills to ensure you understand the need space size etc
  • Full initial training on the sport court solutions and target customers will be given and that support and assistance will continue as you develop your knowledge of the sector
