Preschool Teacher

To carry out the professional duties of a teacher teaching all areas of the primary curriculum as circumstances may require and in accordance with the schools policies under the direction of the Management 

         To take responsibility for teaching a class or small groups adhering to the teacher standards ensuring each pupil makes the best possible progress in their learning

         To take key responsibility for the well being and safety of the students in the class and for ensuring good standards of behavior

         To work closely with teachers and leaders across the school to coordinate and promote children s cocurricular activities and to organize and deliver events in a timely and organized way 

         To adhere to all the school s policies and practices

         To maintain a tidy well managed and attractive learning environment in which learning resources are clearly displayed and available to all

         To take responsibility for your own professional development seeking opportunities to reflect upon and improve your practice in line with the school s and your own priorities

         To contribute to the school s wider effectiveness including running at least one extra curricular club per year

         Be prepared when appropriate to take a leadership role within the school This may include being part of a core curriculum team
