We are looking for someone to join our operations team and support our ongoing compliance work with the FCA

Youll be responsible for the design and implementation of all compliance policies and procedures with support and oversight from our Operations Manager

We are currently an Appointed Representative of a Principal firm registered with the FCA allowing us to offer both insurance and car financing to our customers in the CarCloud app and website

We are in the process of exploring alternative options and assessing of our current arrangement as an Authorised representative

Youll be responsible for much of the research and assessment and youll work with Lucy to help make the right decisions for CarCloud

We are likely to seek full FCA approval this is a process you will have great influence over Its not an immediate priority but we know that it will be necessary at some point in the future

Its crucial that you have previous experience helping a company with FCA approval either through a rd party or directly

Any experience of switching providers or taking a company through direct approval would be highly advantageous

Were open to people who may have been in a supporting role such as Compliance Officer or Analyst youll have lots of support and we can help you develop your knowledge and responsibilities over time

**If you have not been the ultimate authority on compliance issues in your past roles youll need to demonstrate a proactive approach to improving compliance processes

Well want to hear about how you contributed to optimising compliance processes in past positions**

If you have not worked in an earlystage startup before youll need to show an understanding of the differences compared to more established businesses and an enthusiasm for it

• This role will allow someone to make the step up from a supporting role to owning compliance Youll have lots of support and opportunities to make this happen
• Youll gain experience taking a company through full direct FCA approval
  
• We offer all our staff a day working week (MonThurs) and we could also consider a parttime role for the right person too
