Job purpose

Under the direction of the area Supervisor responsible to work closely with production/shipping/customers to transport materials of airbag inflator component parts and completed products to and from manufacturing linesResponsibilities include loading/unloading material onto or from pallets trays racks conveyors and machines by hand Conveys materials using forklift taylor dunn or other devices stacks or assembles materials Maintains responsibility for lean manufacturing practices Ensures material inventory quality control standards and production schedules are adequately maintained Duties and responsibilities

Load and unload trailers with use of forklift

Load and unload material by hand from pallets trays racks conveyors and machines Stack or assemble material

Document inventory as required

Operate motor equipment safely and maintain it with care

Work cooperatively with the production team to meet quotas and goals

Maintain a clean and safe work area

Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management

Follow all written and verbal instructions

Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude

Must be able to preform work that is repetitive in nature

Able to work overtime as needed

Other duties as assigned Education and Experience

High School Diploma/ GED preferred

months production preferred

Must meet ATF requirements

Must be detail oriented

Capable of reading and understanding production documents and safety manuals

Basic math reading and writing skills

Basic computer skills

Good communication skills

Working conditions While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts The employee is exposed to flammable material and fumes or airborne particles The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
