A short-term, acute care hospital located near Columbus, IN is searching for a experienced, dedicated Accountant for a full-time, permanent position! Come grow your career, and join a great team culture, in a beautiful surrounding area!
Compensation Range: $25-$30 Hourly DOE
Accountant Job Description:
- Full-time, permanent, direct-hire position
- Support team on core financial reporting, general ledger management, account reconciliation, key controls, audit readiness, and monthly close
- Serves as a resource to leadership team for financial matters, assists Controller in preparation of the annual budget, and updates supporting financial and reimbursement systems as
- Schedule: M-F, Hybrid work schedule, with split days working remote and in
- Supportive and helpful work environment
Accountant Qualifications:
- In depth understanding of accounting principles (GAAP)
- Strong working knowledge of Excel required
- Ability to organize work and complete tasks in an efficient manner
- Understanding of financial statements and
- Ability to develop and assess internal accounting and financial
- 5 years of accounting experience
