Roles & Responsibilities

MIS and Accounting
Responsible for guiding and learning on daily accounting function guidance to team on
various accounting processes in AP AR banking revenue month end closure year end
closures
Closely works with Finance Head for various management reports analysis
management meetings and other periodic deliverables on MIS
Supports compliance and applicable financial reporting standards Accountable for the
annual audits including coordination with auditors guiding accounting team and closing
audits within stipulated time
Prepares business and financial results including sales operating expenses profits cash
flows net working capital etc

Oversees India cash management tax filings
Review monthend financial results balance sheet reconciliations journal entries and
accurate management reporting

Budgeting and forecasting
Carry out quarterly budgeting and forecasting by constantly taking inputs from various
stakeholders
Prepare and update the runway of the organisation on a monthly basis to ensure
sufficient capital is available for operations
Variance analysis on budgeting vs actuals and carrying out corrective actions whereever
it is needed post consultation finance head
Business Finance
Working closely with finance head to develop and build a business finance reporting
mechanism
Develop dashboards and reports to help business take ontime decisions
Research on international taxes and advise the business on the same Get expert opinion
if required to close out the analysis
Legal and Financial Matters
Manage corporate secretarial function required in accordance with the Indian Companies
Act for Indian subsidiary & corporate entries with country specific laws while
coordinating with the company CS
Ensure all Regulatory filings with the Registrar of Companies as per the country specific
laws

Process setup
Developing operationalizing & communicating organizationwide finance policies
procedures & processes across entities
Making process notes and conducting internal audit checks once in a quarter to ensure
the process set up are running effectively
Ensuring efficient & effective system of internal controls & regulatory compliance
coordinating with internal & statutory auditors

Taxation
Carrying out advance tax computation
Identifying and working with an advisor to help reduce tax impact
Coordination with accounts team/tax agencies for returns assessments etc
Ensuring all GST inputs are utilised/GST filings are done on time while working with the
accounts team
