Job Description

Project Management: Proficiency in project management methodologies, including planning, organizing, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution. Business Analysis:

Understanding business analysis techniques, such as process mapping, requirements elicitation, stakeholder analysis, and business process modeling, to effectively capture and translate business needs into technical requirements.

Domain Knowledge: A solid understanding of the passenger rail industry, including industry regulations, safety standards, operational processes, and training requirements, to facilitate effective communication with stakeholders.

Communication: Excellent communication skills to facilitate discussions, effectively convey project objectives, manage stakeholder expectations, and maintain open lines of communication with the project team, business users, and technical teams.

Stakeholder Management: Skillful at identifying and engaging stakeholders, building relationships, managing their expectations, and ensuring their involvement throughout the project lifecycle.

Leadership: Strong leadership skills to guide the project team, motivate members, resolve conflicts, and foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

Technical Understanding: Familiarity with technology concepts, system architectures, and software development methodologies to facilitate effective collaboration with technical teams and ensure business and technical requirements alignment.

Requirements Gathering: Proficiency in conducting requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and interviews to capture business needs, functional requirements, and technical specifications.

Risk Management: Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, develop risk response strategies, and proactively manage potential issues or challenges that may impact the project's success.

Change Management: Competence in change management principles to effectively plan and implement changes, manage resistance, and ensure a smooth transition and adoption of technology solutions.

Quality Assurance: Knowledge of quality assurance practices to define and monitor project quality standards, ensure compliance with requirements, and deliver high-quality technology solutions.

Procurement and Vendor Management: Understanding procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiation skills to effectively engage external vendors and ensure the delivery of quality products and services delivery.

Budgeting and Cost Management: Proficiency in budgeting techniques, cost estimation, and tracking to ensure projects are delivered within allocated budgets and optimize resource utilization.

Critical Thinking and Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify project-related challenges, evaluate options, and make data-driven decisions that align with the project objectives.

Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements, priorities, and stakeholder needs while focusing on project goals and ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
