Job Description

- Design, develop, and implement control system (both hardware and software) to meet client specifications

- Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLCs for various applications and processes

- Develop and interpret CAD drawings and schematics related to control systems

- Collaborate closely with the design and implementation teams to ensure a seamless integration of control systems

- Offer onsite and offsite technical support for control systems during system start-ups, troubleshooting, and regular maintenance (20% travel)

- Continuously research and stay updated with the latest technological advancements in control engineering

- Provide technical training to other team members and clients as necessary

- Participate in project meetings, offering insights, solutions, and recommendations for control system improvements

- Ensure all designs and implementations adhere to established safety and industry standards

- Document all processes and maintain records for future reference


Requirements

- Bachelor s degree in an engineering-related discipline (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or equivalent)

- A minimum of 4+ years of experience in a control engineering role

- Proficient in PLC programming, especially with [Specific PLC brands, e.g., "Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc."]

- Experience with CAD software for designing control system layouts

- Strong understanding of control system architecture, including sensors, actuators, and communication networks

- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

- Must be able to travel occasionally for on-site implementations and support
