Job Description

Lakeside HR Group, a leading full-service HR consulting and recruiting firm, is currently seeking an experienced Human Resources and Development Manager based in Rush City, MN. This position is responsible for planning, facilitation, and management of the human resource and development areas and activities to maximize the skill and potential of employees. This position also works as a member of the Executive Leadership Team to strategically drive continuous improvement in all areas of the company.

Knowledge, Education, Experience and/or Certifications:
• Requires a (4) year degree and 5-10 years of related experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires at least 5 years of experience using an HRIS system.
• SHRM-SCP and/or SPHR certifications are strongly preferred.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• On-the-job training may be required.

Skills & Abilities:
• Interpersonal Skills to communicate effectively with co-workers and management.
• Oral Communication Skills to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Written Communication Skills and Computer Skills to complete reports, business correspondence, procedures, and documents.
• Organizational and Time Management Skills.
• Ability to understand and carry out detailed oral and written instructions.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Apply good judgment in recognizing scope of authority.
• Must possess sufficient mathematical ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
