Requirement Description: The Ohio Department of Aging (ODA) is looking for an experienced, skilled, and motivated full Stack Sr. Dot Net developer to join the team. The candidate will be supporting State projects and application systems to support the personnel that serve the aging community or the aging community at large. The ideal candidate will be involved in the design, development, coding, customization, configuration, testing, and deployment of applications and provide post deployment support to end users.
This position will function as a highly skilled full stack Sr. Dot Net lead developer with specific responsibilities that include:
Participate as part of a team that has deep knowledge of analysis, modern design, development, and testing to meet industry standards while satisfying business and functional requirements.
Develop and lead the enhancements of robust technology & data systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams of technical and non-technical personnel to gather and analyze requirements, to determine necessity of modifications or enhancements, and translate into technical specifications and system architecture.
Design and build system architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and optimal performance.
Utilize programming language and frameworks (.NET, Bootstrap, Angular, MVC) to create modules, interfaces, and functionalities needed to solve complex problems.
Leverage database structure and optimize data storage and retrieval processes for efficient reporting and data management.
Integrate secure user authentication and authorization mechanisms, including role-based access control (RBAC) to control system access.
Demonstrated technical expertise creating integrations across diverse technical environments and cross-platform technologies, both internal and external systems, ensuring data quality and privacy protection.
Produce technical and operational documentation.
Ability to make best practice recommendations based upon past work.
Utilizes excellent written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical personnel.
Encourages diversity of thought and creative problem solving.
Mandatory Requirements
4 years college degree or equivalent technical study with advanced study preferred.
10 years of Application Development including web forms, Web API, and data integration
10 years of .NET Web Forms
10 years of MVC experience
10 years of .NET Core experience
10 years of Angular 5 and above, Bootstrap, JQuery experience
7 years of Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server experience
3 years Azure DevOp experience
5 years Python
10 years of development experience within large, complex systems
