We are seeking an experienced CNC operator for our Aerospace facility in Athens GA
Essential Job Functions & Skills
- Set up and operation of CNC equipment throughout the manufacturing process
- Review of shop orders programs and cutter list for accuracy prior to production
- Loads tools and initiates cycle start after tool changes
- Monitors fail safe motion
- Monitors machine status and federate signs
- Inspects for worn or damaged tooling
- Loads/Unloads material
- Verifies setup book instructions agree with the work being performed
- Follows through with actions requested by supervisor
- Searches program for correct line/block number to cycle start
- Loads or remove fixtures for setup
- Checks program and cutter list data in machine
- Inspects and documents inprocess check sheets
- Verifies attendants actions
