Summary.
For a Medium to Large Site, the IT Manager provides leadership to the IT Solutions team who provides Systems analysis, design, development and support for Global Systems (including SFC, ERP and Integration) and also the IT Infrastructures team who provides infrastructure services and support. Accountable for projects or programs on a multi-functional or national basis which involves strategic planning, team leadership, system administration, and ensuring the effective use of technology to support business operations.
Detailed Description
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
- Overseeing the daily IT Infrastructure Operations
- Oversight of team consisting of Infrastructure type support, helpdesk, customer experience, vendor management, server support, network support, etc.) - 60/70% managing those items.
- Making sure all of the users have all of the tools they need, laptops, desktops, etc.
- Making sure their MSP is being properly managed by this individual.
- Making sure they're doing to patching, etc. from the infrastructure side.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and proper access controls within the ERP system.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and coordinate upgrades or enhancements.
- Manage and oversee cross-functional projects
- Collaborate with the company's central IT team to ensure alignment with overall IT standards and practices.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency gains through technology.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the organization.
- Plan and execute IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations and new technology implementations.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets and resources to ensure successful delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business needs and translate them into ERP solutions.
- Builds close relationships with the functional areas within the site to understand what IT capabilities they need to innovate, grow, improve efficiencies, or address compliance requirements.

- Integrate and manage external service suppliers
- Perform and support change management activities
- Provide user training on the ERP system and other IT tools.
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies
- Experience managing a team of at least 4-5 IT individuals
- Experience managing Infrastructure type support, helpdesk, customer experience, vendor management, server support, network support, etc.) - 60/70% managing those items.

- Proficiency in ERP software (e.g SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor) and related tools is a NICE to have.
- Experienced in managing and delivering projects.
- Strong relationship, negotiation, stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
- Excellent leadership and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in implementing, configuring and troubleshooting various Infor software solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of data analysis and ability to resolve complex process/system problems using financial, analytical and statistical models.
- Knowledge of management methodologies and finance.
- Good analytical skills.
- Good communication (both oral and written) and presentation skills.
- Good understanding of IT requirements for an end to end solution, including security, business continuity, disaster recovery, Risk analysis and prepare Business Case

- Broad knowledge of Celestica IT architecture strategies.

- Understanding of SCM and manufacturing processes and ERP applications.
Typical Experience
- 7+ years experience in Information Technology with a least 4 years within manufacturing and preferably 1+ years within the Electronics Manufacturing Services or Contract Manufacturing Sector.
- Experience working with and negotiating with from shop floor thru to senior management and also with customers and suppliers
