Job Description

Job Purpose

Provide a professional service to all internal and external customers of the Bank to ensure that the daytoday processing of the Banks Data is completed with accuracy and in an efficient manner

Responsibilities Accountabilities & Deliverables

Manage the input of Client Data into ABCIB Systems (including Client Master TI Urbis)

Ensure accuracy of processed data

Ensuring all appropriate documentation and KYC requirements are in place by liaising with the Account Officer and Compliance

Liaise with Finance to agree coding for regulatory returns

Allocate Customer Service Numbers & client numbers and advise appropriate departments

Setup of Account Data into ABCIB Systems (TI and Urbis)

  • Ensuring all appropriate documentation and KYC requirements are in place by liaising with the Account Officer and Compliance
  • Ensuring correct coding and interest conditions are added
  • Manage the unblocking and re blocking of Dormant Sanctioned and Operational accounts
  • Manage the input of all other static data in ABCIB Systems (TI Urbis Kondor) as necessary including Holiday Data Currencies Receivables data SSIs etc
  • Collate statements daily and send to client via mail or encrypted email
  • Respond to Audit Requests received by ABCIB on behalf of Clients ensuring a timely turnaround
  • Liaise with Internal Audit and KPMG and provide relevant information
  • Amend user access rights in Urbis ensuring that proper controls are maintained and that Access Rights are granted in line with the Logical Access Management policies
  • Setup and amend user access rights in various external systems ensuring that proper controls are maintained and that Access Rights are granted in line with the Logical Access Management policies
  • Ad hoc tasks throughout the year eg SSI updates in TI and Urbis system maintenance testing new systems etc
  • System Security and Data Administration support all ABC units in the above roles and support ABC Companies in Egypt Jordan New York Tunisia and Turkey with the client data maintained in Client Master
  • Contact clients via telephone to complete callbacks with appropriate checks to ensure no fraudulent payment is made
  • Control SWIFT RMA SWIFT Messaging and rerouting for IB and SA
  • Performing various Middle Office functions including
    • Reviewing counterparty limit excesses
    • Monitoring FX positions
    • Checking daily and month end revaluation rates
    • Monitoring FX P&L
    • Treasury Confirmation Matching oversight
    • Performing a Trade Surveillance function in order to mitigate the risk of inappropriate activity by the dealing room

Performing and oversight of Reconciliations

  • Nostro Accounts

Daily/Monthly Nostro Reconciliation workflow signoff

Daily production of MI reporting / escalation of outstanding items

Monthly production of KRIs

Performing quality assurance testing and oversight of the service performed by the Service Provider

Suspense Accounts Responsible for ensuring that all active suspense accounts are signedoff by the designated owner on a monthly basis and sending the completed declarations to the Head of Finance

Stock/ Security Accounts Monthly reconciliation of all ABCIB London security positions held at our depositories against our internal records

Broker invoice reconciliation

Front to Back office trade reconciliation

    Assist with Trade & Transaction Report submission via TRAX (EMIR MiFIDII and SFTR reporting)

    Experience

    • Good general working experience of the Banking and IT system environment
    • Operational and T&TR experience
    • FCA / Regulatory change exposure
