Note This is a hybrid position days remote days in office (flexible on days will discuss once onboarded)
Job Description
- This candidate will be the Digital Architect for the group for EPD working under Remote Asset Monitoring (RAM) application
- Strong handson coding experience with any of Node JS ExpressJS NextJS Angular React Java Python NET ANSI C etc
- Core networking and application concepts/protocols
Typical task breakdown
- Leading design meetings code reviews proof of concepts and coaching more junior engineers
- Architecture/LTA design & reviews
- Collaborative with cross time zone and divisional
Education & Experience Required
- Bachelors Degree Computer Science Electrical Engineering or related field
- years of IT architect experience
Required Technical Skills
- Must have Experience in Azure Network Architecture Node Js Rest TCP/IP
- Strong demonstrable experience delivering component product and/or enterprise architecture in multi cloud and/or hybrid ecosystems Knowledge of PaaS and SaaS technologies for Azure and/or AWS
- Must have demonstrable experience in one or more of the following massive realtime event and message processing data lakes Big Data transformations and analytics complex telematics applications IoT edge and cloud data processing SQL and NoSQL data modeling
- Strong handson coding experience with any of Node JS ExpressJS NextJS Angular React Java Python NET ANSI C etc
- Core networking and application concepts/protocols
- Expertise in integration with other applications using APIs (REST SOAP etc) Messagebased Queues etc
- Strong handson development experience in public cloud environment
- Expert in CI/CD pipeline DevOps for applications and infrastructure GitHub repository
- Familiarity with core telematics concepts
- Industrial protocols J Modbus RTU Modbus TCP
- Familiarity with telematics hardware or similar
- Familiarity with onboard/embedded software design
Desired
- Understanding of Agile SDLC implementation in public cloud ecosystem including environments management test automation peer/code review CI/CD resource optimization etc
- Experience with PTC Thing Worx AVEVA OSI PI Atlassian Confluence tool
- Ability to clearly communicate complex technical ideas regardless of the technical capacity of the audience
