Job Description

- Program, set up, and operate a bank of five CNC Swiss Screw machines to fabricate precision parts according to blueprints and specifications
- Select appropriate tooling and materials for each job
- Perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine machining operations, dimensions and maintain in-process inspection paperwork
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize production processes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- 2+ Years working with CNC Swiss Screw Machines
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of tooling selection, setup, and operation
- GD&T
- G-Code
- M-Code
- Machine Setups for Production Runs
- Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
- Troubleshooting CNC Machines
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Shop Math Skills
