Job Description

Req ID : 2331489

Happiness is everything to our full-time special needs childcare providers. Developing a close relationship with a nannys family involves commitment and love. It is a close bond that makes every day have meaning, brings you joy, and helps you laugh. The parents depend on your reliability, engagement, and intelligence. Our clients offer generous benefits, ample vacation time, and an excellent wage. As a former nanny, the owner knows how important it is to care for kids in a fair and reasonable environment to share your childcare expertise. We aim for you to develop a long-lasting relationship with your nanny family.

What is a Nanny?

As a nanny, you are a vital part of the family. You provide peace of mind to the family by being a comprehensive caregiver. First and foremost, you offer the kids a safe place to play and learn. Do you love playing games, creating crafts, and going on outings? Any opportunity where child-focused learning occurs is a welcome activity. Be sure to nurture the children with breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner, depending on your schedule. You can introduce manners during meals or activities to advance the childs social skills. Secondly, you support the parents by keeping the house tidy. Did you guys have a colossal playdate? Just make sure to clean up afterward. Some parents ask for help with meal preparation, light organization, and grocery shopping. At the end of the day, when the parents return home, they love to return to a household of calm kids and a tidy home.

Mom and Dad are thrilled to have their 7mo safe at home after an extended stay at the hospital after its birth. The babys arrival home is the moment they have been waiting for! Now comes phase two, introducing the new nanny - but they havent found one yet!

The parents are looking for a highly engaging and intelligent full-time nanny to care for their medically fragile baby. You will benefit from having PCA or CNA experience or attending nursing school. The childs medical needs are minimal. However, Lo still needs help feeding through a G-tube and managing GERD. Your experience with medication management is also helpful. The child is developmentally on track but will benefit from strength training and cognitive stimulation.

Mom and Dad are grateful to be surrounded by supportive friends and family, and they want a nanny who is equally, if not more, supportive. Due to a compromised immune system, vaccination against COVID-19 and the flu is mandatory. In addition, the family performs extensive sterilization techniques to minimize the risk of infection. Luckily, with each passing year, Los immune system strengthens. With time, the parents hope cross-contamination becomes a moot point. The family is looking for a full-time medical nanny who will stay for at least two years.
