Nightingale Hammerson cares for over residents tailoring our approaches within our residential nursing dementia respite and palliative care We are enormously proud of our homes with our South London home Nightingale House being rated as Outstanding and our North London Hammerson House as Good in its first year open by the Care Quality Commission (CQC)

Personcentred care is at the heart of our work and we have teams of onsite therapists a dietitian and a wealth of activities for residents to enjoy The Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser is vital to building relationships with and growing income from highlevel donors trusts and foundations to support our work

As a Digital Care Lead you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our organisations digital care platform collaborating with various departments to enhance the quality of care we provide to our residents

What will your typical day involve

The role of the Digital Care Lead involves a diverse set of responsibilities This includes developing digital care plan specifications and ensuring compliance leading innovative efforts in digital care planning and medication management and assisting care workers in the use of digital care applications The position also requires troubleshooting issues in collaboration with software vendors as well as creating and maintaining training materials and assisting colleagues with mobile device setup The Digital Care Lead closely collaborates with IT and software vendors to implement the system fosters effective relationships with care plan and medication providers and provides essential support and training to the care team In addition to these tasks the Digital Care Lead is responsible for generating regular outcome reports for performance evaluation maintaining an uptodate asset list and monitoring data They also play a crucial role in developing a competency framework for staff and ensuring continuous improvement in service standards

Who are we looking for

The roles requirements are diverse covering different facets Candidates are expected to hold an IT and Health and Social Care related qualification Experience in implementing and managing digital care records familiarity with adult social care knowledge of regulatory compliance and proficiency in IT skills are necessary The position necessitates various skills such as project management effective communication problemsolving and adaptability along with personal attributes like a commitment to diversity and the organisations values of Compassion Respect Excellence Dignity Integrity and Teamwork The role involves strategic support for team members keeping abreast of developments offering guidance performing complex tasks working with autonomy and being accountable for personal and team responsibilities The Digital Care Lead should be adaptable open to feedback and willing to learn about the specific needs of the community they serve including the Jewish way of life Travel between care home sites may be necessary to provide support and oversight
