Senior Technician (LAN) 1
- Working Location: Norfolk, VA, USA
- Security Clearance: NATO Secret
- Language: High proficiency level in English language
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Essential Qualifications/Experience:
Higher vocational or secondary training with 2 years role-related experience. The lack training degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidates particular abilities or at least 4 years extensive and progressive expertise in the duties related to the function of the post
Proven brownfield/greenfield campus LAN deployment experience
Experience in Identity Management: Dot1X, ISE, Radius, TACACS+, PKI
Experience with Core campus related technologies: STP (Spanning Tree Protocol), VLAN (Virtual Local Area Network), SNMP (Simple Network Management protocol), ACL (Access Control Lists), QoS (Quality of Service), LACP (Link Aggregation Control Protocol), LAG (Link Aggregation Group), VSS / Stackwise virtual, IPV6 (Internet Protocol version 6) network technologies and concepts
Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g. HP Network Automation, Splunk, Spectrum, Whats Up Gold)
Knowledge of routing and IP protocols: OSPF, BGP, IPv6, multicast
Understanding of Firewall, Intrusion Detection System, IPSec (Internet Protocol Security), VPN (Virtual Private Network) technologies and concepts
Level of knowledge shall be equal or higher than Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Ability to lift 35 pounds unassisted
