ABOUT THE ROLE

Qiqi is looking for a hardworking and dependable Dull Stack Developer as part of our growing international Digital team, with proven experience in Website development for E-commerce using Sanity and Shopify.

This new position reports to and works in conjunction with the Director of Digital.As a Full Stack Developer specializing in e-commerce for beauty and cosmetics, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and optimizing our online shopping experience. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining our website, integrating third-party applications, implementing tracking solutions, and ensuring seamless functionality across different platforms.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Website Development: Design, develop, and maintain our e-commerce website, ensuring it is user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for performance and responsiveness.
• Platform Integration: work with Shopify, Sanity CMS, and other third-party platforms to enhance website functionality, user experience, and backend operations.
• Tracking Implementation: Implement and manage tracking solutions using Google Tag Manager and other tools to gather valuable data on user behaviour, sales, and marketing campaign performance.
• Frontend Development: Create visually appealing and interactive frontend elements using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other frontend technologies to enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
• Backend Development: Develop and maintain server-side logic, databases, and APIs using backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, or PHP, ensuring smooth data exchange between the server and frontend.
• Security and Performance: Implement security measures to protect customer data and ensure website security. Optimize website performance and loading speed to provide a seamless browsing experience.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketers, and other developers, to implement new features, optimize existing functionalities, and troubleshoot issues.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify and fix bugs, ensuring the website functions flawlessly across various devices and browsers.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation related to website architecture, APIs, and integrations for future reference and team collaboration.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, e-commerce technologies, and best practices to suggest innovative solutions and improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer in the e-commerce industry, preferably in beauty and cosmetics.
• Proficiency in Shopify, Sanity CMS, Google Tag Manager, and other common e-commerce platforms and tools.
• Strong knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, etc.) and backend languages (Node.js, Python, PHP, etc.).
• Experience with database systems (SQL, MongoDB, etc.) and RESTful API development.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
