Im recruiting for a growing building supply company based in Southern California who is looking to hire an experienced Senior Truss Designer with MiTek software experience. The ideal candidate would need to be based in California (but still work 100% remote), or be willing to relocate to California.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Must have MiTek or StrucSoft Solutions Experience.
- Truss Design Experience.
- 5+ years of directly related experience in Wood Truss Manufacturing or the lumber and building materials industry with multiple assignments in all phases of the business.
- Significant understanding and practical experience in business and management principles.
- Knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, and inventory processes/management.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills
- Demonstrated success in creating accountability and to lead by example.
- Strong team building, consensus building, decision-making, people management, and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual in English & Spanish helpful
