Service Lead Governance and Operational Services

Under the overall direction of the Head of Commissioning and Support Services, the post holder will be responsible for the children's services business support function within the Directorate. The post holder will provide effective leadership and management to the service area.

Tasks

• Plan, monitor, and control Business Support's work, ensuring an effective and efficient service.
• Manage service provision to meet targets and quality standards.
• Foster positive performance management and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Develop and review processes for high-quality support.
• Build relationships with Children's Services.
• Contribute to the Council's strategic goals.
• Ensure compliance with Council policies and procedures.

Requirements

Qualifications/Training:

• Professional qualification at degree level or higher.
• Commitment to personal and professional development.
