Job Qualifications: |

-High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
-3+ years electrical maintenance experience in heavy industrial environment.
-Strong knowledge and experience with industrial electronics, AC/DC theory, power transmission, test instruments and instrumentation, VFD s, PLC s, ladder logic, relay logic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, motor controls, and electrical construction.
-Ability to install, troubleshoot, and maintain a wide variety of industrial equipment using schematic diagrams and equipment manuals as guides.

Preferred Qualifications: |

-Certificate of Completion of Apprenticeship, Journeyman Certification, or equivalent work experience.
-Steel industry experience.
-Welding and light fabrication experience.

Job Responsibilities: |

-Schedule:(6pm-6am on a 5 on, 2 off, 2 on, 5 off schedule)
-Demonstrated commitment to safe working behaviors including lockout, fall protection, confined space, and mobile equipment operation.
-Great teamwork, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
-Perform regular and preventative maintenance on installed electromechanical equipment and effectively troubleshoot complex problems associated with electromechanical machinery and systems.
-Analyze test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators to diagnose and repair.
-Be a valued member of the maintenance team, interacting with production, industrial maintenance, and cross-functionally to ensure reliability of equipment, service, safety, and continuous improvement.
