We are currently recruiting for a Growth Marketing Manager based in the North West to join the team at one of the UK's most loved chain of health clubs as they continue their growth in 2024. With a very real possibility of quick progression into a Head of Marketing role, this is an exciting opportunity for any marketing professional passionate about the fitness industry

The Role

We re looking for an experienced, self starting, commercial and analytical marketer to join the team at Total Fitness. We re in an exciting period of growth with opportunities for sales funnel optimization, new products and membership types, and growth outside of our core business.

Reporting to the Brand Development Director, you ll lead a small team with a mix of internal talent and external agencies. The role requires hands on expertise with exceptional management skills of line reports (Marketing Executive and Marketing Assistant) and external support (PR and digital agencies.)

Responsibilities:

- Seek and seize opportunities for sustainable business growth through multi-channel marketing strategies

- Manage and optimize our organic and paid performance across earned, owned and paid for channels

- Devise communications strategies that engage across a wide range of audiences

- Work with the creative team to maximize campaign performance

- Lead and develop the marketing team

What you ll give

- Manage agencies to ensure they deliver the best possible value for budget
- Manage marketing budgets with a keen focus on ROI
- Test and analyse tactics and performance
- Report performance to senior leadership
- Several years of significant marketing experience with examples of proven success in new growth opportunities and optimization
- An ambitious, curious mindset to seek, test, and review opportunities for increased performance
- Resilience, self-belief and an agility to rise to any challenge
- Excellent leadership skills with line management experience
- A commitment to stay up to date with latest trends and innovations
- Hands on experience across multiple channels, platforms and analytical tools (Google Analytics, Tag Manager and data collection tools)
