Seeking a Dynamic Director of Leisure

Join our esteemed organization as the Director of Leisure and take charge of our varied portfolio with full P&L responsibility. As a motivational leader, you will set and maintain service standards across all outlets, ensuring an exceptional customer experience from start to finish. We are searching for an energetic and enthusiastic individual with a genuine passion for quality and a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities:

Staff Management:

  • Inspire and motivate teams at all levels
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and development of staff
  • Ensure fair treatment of part-time employees
  • Conduct regular appraisals and foster a positive working environment

Financials:

  • Prepare operating plans for profit centres
  • Review monthly financial statements and provide analysis
  • Present financial results at group quarterly meetings

Menus:

  • Collaborate with team to cost and itemize menus
  • Monitor product prices to maintain budget adherence

Suppliers:

  • Lead supplier selection process with Head Chef's
  • Seek fixed pricing, prioritizing quality
  • Foster relationships with local suppliers

Ordering and Stock Control:

  • Collaborate with Food and Beverage Manager to maintain proper stock levels
  • Order exclusively from approved suppliers
  • Minimize wastage and ensure proper rotation of stock

General:

  • Ensure compliance with all SOPs
  • Foster a cooperative and efficient work environment
  • Personally handle all customer complaints
  • Oversee stock checks and provide reports to the Group Chairman

Ideal Applicant:

  • Extensive experience managing high-performing teams in 5-star settings
  • Strong business management and operations knowledge
  • Passionate about delivering top-notch service and food and beverage standards
  • Banqueting and hotel experience, with familiarity with EPOS applications
