Digital Shelf Strategist at firstmovr - a US-based e-commerce accelerator, a satellite Center of Excellence (COE) for eCommerce education and change management (remote).

  • Chris is the generator on a mission to empower Leaders of Change to win in digital commerce and beyond. As a CPG eCommerce practitioner and advisor, he has led the eCommerce strategy, capabilities, activation, and education at RB, WellPet, Kellogg s, and other top CPGs.


Now, Oskar, Chris, and Liza (Team Lead at Firstmovr) are in need of a well-organized eCommerce Content Manager to help their Client, one of the largest pharma companies in the United States, enhance their online presence and for their diverse range of nutritional products.

What will you do?

As a Digital Shelf Strategist at firstmovr, your responsibilities would include:

Content Formatting:

  • Format brand content into the required format for ingestion by retailers such as Walmart, Amazon, or other platforms.

  • Enhance metadata attributes (e.g., product titles, descriptions, keywords) to improve search visibility and discoverability on retailer platforms.

  • Product Images: Ensure product images meet the specified guidelines for each retailer, such as number of images, size, resolution, and background removal if necessary.

  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with retailers' content guidelines, policies, and standards, conducting quality checks to identify and resolve any issues or inconsistencies.

  • Content Advisement: Consult with brand teams on the creation of enhanced brand content, such as rich media assets, marketing materials, nutritional facts, or ingredient lists.

  • Competitive Content Analysis: Conduct an analysis of competitor content on the retailers' platforms to gain insights into their content strategies, identify best practices, and benchmark against industry standards.

  • Content Approval Workflow: Implement an approval workflow to ensure that all content modifications and updates go through a proper review process before distribution.

  • Reporting and Analytics: Monitor content performance, track key metrics, and generate reports to assess the effectiveness of content distribution strategies and identify areas for improvement.

  • Data Integration: Integrate the brand data from various sources into the Syndigo system, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

  • Data Validation: Verify the integrity and completeness of the brand data within the Syndigo system, Thoughtspot platform checking for any errors or missing information.

  • Digital Asset Management: Organize and manage the digital assets associated with the brand data, such as product images, videos, or documentation, within the Syndigo system.


Working hours:

You should be ready to work with the team between 9 am and 5 pm New York time (EST Time Zone - click here to check your time difference).


Requirements:

  • Fluent English - you'll constantly communicate with native English speakers in the US, so we don't want to see or hear any mistakes.

  • Excellent attention to detail you are used to double-checking everything and can quickly notice the slightest mistake. This skill is the most important requirement for this position since the whole role is about reviewing information and databases for accuracy.

  • Ability to find and work with information - there will be a lot of new information / things to be learned, so this is also very important.

  • Good working knowledge in Excel & Google Sheets as you'll be involved in analytical tasks, constantly checking internal analytics platform to check the scores, analyzing sales performance, keyword performance, etc.

  • Structured thinking - you can multitask easily and organize your thoughts as well as the workload.

  • Organizing skills - you know exactly how to organize your work and personal time and don't want any minute to go to waste.

  • Great communication skills - you are easy to communicate with, you are not afraid to ask questions. This role involves heavy communication (with team members, teams, agencies) to get all the working pieces together, so your communication skills are crucial.

  • Strong self-reliance and the ability to create solutions and make decisions on your own with the minimum required confirmations. You'll surely have a manager with whom you'll be working closely but still, you need to be independent.

  • Be a proactive team player who's not afraid to speak up for your own opinion - seriously, the company is looking for a person with many ideas, not just an executor.

  • Goal- & detail-oriented - you can easily adapt to a fast-changing environment without losing your goals and targets.

  • Good to have some experience with brand management and the digital sphere: digital marketing, digital commerce, etc.

  • Complete Bachelor s or Master s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field. For this vacancy, we don t have a chance to consider students since we need a full commitment because of the very important clients and projects, that is why we ll only consider graduates who do not have any studies in their lives now.
